Organisation Profile

Sarkomer was founded on the 1st of October 2011 and is a nationwide patient organisation and a support group for everyone affected by sarcoma. We offer support, information and activities for patients, relatives and survivors. Our mission is to contribute to more awareness and knowledge about sarcoma.

There are currently 722 registered members of the organisation. The board consists of 7 members, divided between 6 persons who are current and former sarcoma patients and one person who is a family member. The organisation has one person working in the administration and one local branch.

Sakomer Norway is both a support group and a patient organisation.
