SPAGN is thrilled to announce the opening of nominations for the prestigious Advocacy in Action Award 2025 and the newly introduced Paola Gonzato Memory Award for impactful projects in sarcoma patient advocacy.

 

Advocacy in Action Award 2025

Since its inception in 2017, the Advocacy in Action Award has highlighted exceptional initiatives in the sarcoma community. Over the years, we have been impressed by the quality and impact of the projects submitted by our member groups, and we're excited to continue recognizing their contributions to advancing sarcoma advocacy. 🙌

The Advocacy in Action Award 2025 invites SPAGN member groups to submit their outstanding sarcoma-specific (excluding bone sarcomas) projects that have made a tangible impact on patients and their communities.

The three top projects will receive: 

🏅 1st Prize: €2,000
🥈 2nd Prize: €1,500
🥉 3rd Prize: €1,000

The projects will be evaluated by a committee of sarcoma care experts and patient advocate leaders. Finalists will have the opportunity to present their projects at the SPAGN Annual Conference, where winners will be announced during a special awards dinner.

🆕 New for 2025: Paola Gonzato Memory Award for Bone Sarcoma Advocacy

We are excited to introduce a new special award for bone sarcoma advocacy: the "Paola Gonzato Memory Award", sponsored by the Fondazione Paola Gonzato Rete Sarcoma ETS, Italy. This award will recognize the most impactful advocacy projects focusing on bone sarcomas. 💪

🏆 The winner of the Paola Gonzato Memory Award will receive a prize of €3,000.

 

📝 Eligibility Criteria and Application Process
